July 4th Weekend!

It's a famil tradition to watch the Webster Groves Fireworks and eat Ted Drews. We had a lot of fun and I will load video I took of the fireworks tomorrow.

rollercade

I went to rollercade today it was really fun. I learned how to skate with my mom and sister Hanna. The skate instructor even came around to help mom teach us. I was able to skate without holding on to the wall. My little brother Eli even tried skate himself.

My Mom

This is my mom. She is athletic. She ran a Marathon when I was 3. She coached my t-ball team for 3 years and my soccer team since 1st grade. She races her bike sometimes. I like to ride my bike with her when she runs. She says I help her run faster. I don't know many other moms like her. I don't know many other girls like her. Except for her friend Cristel and Julie. They race too. It's really cool to have an athletic mom.

My trip to the Science Center.

I went to the science center on Saturday. I did a whole lot of things; like build the mini arch, I tried to find fossils that they found and buried , then I looked around then I went home.

Indoor Soccer

Last night we had an indoor soccer game. It was pretty cool. The first half I played defense. It was okay, but it's not my best position. I was put in as forward at the end of the second half. The ball came my way and I hustled for it. i got it and started to dribble towards the goal. Suddenly, I realize the only thign between me and the goal was the goalie, so I took the shot.....and SCORED!

We actually lost the game 4 to 1, but I SCORED the only one for our team. I was pretty excited about that. I have become a much better soccer player this year than ever before. Mom coaches outdoor soccer and every once in awhile I listen to her. It works.
